But, if you use that, you would be the biggest no-life ever. I mean, get a controller to be the best? That is stupid.

The one I posted is a modified controller. They used to sell a kit, now they did the work for you. I just don't get it though, how can you think you have real skill when you use something like that? It would be like me programming my mouse or speed pad with macros. That to me, would just be cheating. Lord knows, it has been tempting some days with some of these ppl already doing it, but you cannot fool yourself at the end of the day!!! :pimp:

I use macro's too, only for auto-typing L4D2 commands.
!usepoints, !rpgmenu, !laseron etc.

using them for skill is dumb, really really dumb. :nospam:

It is tempting.. esp. with my connection and still using copper wires/phone lines gives me a best ping of 280ms and 1 bar.. if i am lucky.. if someone one a game over here i get 2-3 bars and a 90-100ms ping,, friggin makes a big diffference.. looks like one day we will get optic fibre cable... one day.
like to play a game with same ping and latency as everyone else, see if it really will make a difference..
Demented said other night he is on optic cable but he still has a high ping but way lower than mine. i just cannot understand when guys complain cuz they have 30ms ping/3 full bars. i know it is not only factor but it does make a big difference.

sword lock-on is much shorter, cant kill someone with br in cft if on ledge when shootin at plyr near base, hard to judge how far in front u have to lead in shots when using snipe , flying is slower, running is slower and when got flag it is like dragging ur feet. guys with good connection run faster than me when they got the flag and i am chasing them.

winge, winge, winge, poor old me... But i still enjoy game and will always try my best.. I would never use that xbox modded controller but i have to wonder..... would it compensate for the ping/latency and connection issues??? U can't blame for thinking about it :o

I think a controller may help in that situation, But if you have heaps of lag it probably still won't work that greatly...
I am contemplating get a controller for its Aim Assist... Because of my lag I can't shoot anything, and also having other family members using internet at the same time does not help me at all...

I haz 1.5Mbps Down and 256Kbps Up... Best internet I can get here though :(
Stupid internet!

I know exactly how you feel Superter, although I think my sad ping now looks awesome compared to yours.

Usually the best I get is ~125-140...that is only on MM servers. All the others I get ~165-180 if I'm lucky.

National Broadband rollout may happen ONE day lol

Pirates, i use controller on PC cuz i kept breaking mice, but it has no aim assist only the auto-centering thing that is in live settings which i found annoying

I think the Xbox360 controller for XBOX when using Xbox has some sort of aim assist, not really sure
